Doctor of Chiropractic, Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner through the Institute for Functional Medicine, and nationally recognized speaker and educator, Dr. Shannyn specializes in helping individuals with complex, chronic health challenges.

After being diagnosed with fibromyalgia at a young age, she began a relentless search for answers beyond conventional approaches. What she discovered was a deeper layer to chronic illness—often rooted in factors like chronic viral infections and overlooked imbalances that don’t always show up on standard tests.

Over the years, Dr. Shannyn faced her own struggles with chronic pain, fatigue, and unresolved symptoms. Today, she lives symptom-free with restored energy and a clear understanding of what it takes to truly heal.

She is dedicated to helping people who feel stuck, dismissed, or confused by their symptoms finally make sense of what’s going on in their body—and more importantly, giving them practical, effective tools to start feeling better.

Dr. Shannyn and her husband, Dr. Justin Pearce, DC, DNM, run their virtual practice, Journey to Wellness, based in Dallas, TX, where they work with clients across the country.
